Flea Market - Lorong Kulit

Opened daily, the flea market has for years attracted the masses with its assortment of basement bargains. Situated at the Penang Stadium open-air carparrk in Lorong Kulit, a group of "early birds" peddlers come to sell their wares at penang's only flea market.

One can find just about anything here ranging from fresh produce to cheap electrical item, cloths, second hand goods and sometimes a valuable collectible or two. Hence, a shrewd souvenir and antique hunter in search if a 'diamond-in-the-rough' to add to his collection might just find it here.

These days, even foreigners are getting into the act! A few have been spotted hawking their merchandise next to locals and thus adding to the diversity of cultures at the flea market.
