located at the center of Georgetown

The hotel is located at the center of Georgetown, which is good for tourists who wanna look around the heritage sites in the town and taste local food. You can also shop along Penang Road and there're lots of hawker food you can try.

Nice Hotel

Room is clean. Is conveniently located in the middle of the town and lots of foods around. Convenience store is also walking distance. I had a really pleasant stay.

Great location, Great facilities

we loved staying at the cititel. yes, it's a corporate type hotel pitched at the business traveller, yet on our honeymoon we still found the hotel perfect for our needs. we had a room near the top with great 180 degree views of the city out across to penang bridge. our room was very clean and modern looking with an excellent air con system and modern appliances. the breakfast buffet is probably the best we had in malaysia, catering for continental, malay, japanese, indian and chinese tastes. we loved also having shop great restaurants downstairs, good cocktail list at the bar with pleasant staff, and very professional check in staff. sure, the citiel has none of that penang colonial charm but, hey, when you've explored the city on foot and are tired and covered in sweat all you want is a great, clean, cool room with a view to unwind and relax.

Fantastic location

Short stroll to the clubs and bars. Also very near to heritage sites. Good for those who love being in the city centre. Has a hawker centre with great food selection opposite.
